The Dream Machine with Conservation Jets
Get higher yields with less expense

Make your conservation farming dream come true.

Use the Dream machine to perform these
tillage practices with only minor adjustments.

1.  Build a conventional 10" seedbed strip for spring strip-till while spreading all, or part, of nitrogen under seedbed before or during planting.

2.  Place residue where needed for erosion control and moisture conservation.

3.  Build ridges and inject nitrogen in stale seedbed.

4.  Rebuild ridges and inject nitrogen under seedbed before planting in spring.

5.  Fall strip-ripping and ridge building.

The New Quick-tatch Conservation Jet (C-Jet)

1.      The new C-Jet comes with a 6”, 8”, or 10” sweep that is easy and economical to replace.

2.      The C-Jet lifts and loosens the seed bed and spreads liquid nitrogen or anhydrous in a wide band behind the sweep where the anhydrous stays in the soil much better than other anhydrous knives.

3.      The spreading of the nitrogen makes it safe to plant seed over it any time, if the sweep is run at the proper depth for the amount of nitrogen being applied.

4.      The C-Jet is the heart of the Strip-Till Dream Machine, the Mini-Till Corn Bed Maker, the Mulch Till-N-Jector and the Side Dress-N-Jector.

5.      The new C-Jet has stainless steel fertilizer tubes.

6.      The new C-Jet is manufactured by Nichols Tillage Tools and can be purchased from any of their dealers.

7.      New brackets and shanks are available at a reasonable price to make the new C-Jet work on most size tool bars.

If you have a tool bar with Edge Bent Shanks, you can make the best spring strip-till machine or minimum-till corn bed maker that money can buy.  The C-Jet will spread the nitrogen and lift and loosen a strip of soil 7" -  8" deep and 8" - 10" wide.  The two highly adjustable rolling cultivator gangs will finish any strip-till or ridge-till seed bed that is needed.  Plant corn anytime on this seed bed and get higher yields with less nitrogen and tillage expense.

The Corn Bed-Maker with C-Jets that will loosen the soil and spread a full rate of anhydrous or liquid nitrogen under the seedbed in a way that makes the nitrogen  available and safe for  the young corn plant. It makes a good seedbed and spreads the nitrogen in one pass.

The Strip-Till Dream Machine with the new C-Jet and quick-tatch sweep. The C-Jet helps make a conventional seedbed strip and spreads the nitrogen where it stays in the soil and is safe and available to the young corn plant.

The Mini-till Corn Bed Maker with rolling cultivator gangs building a good seed bed and spreading a full rate of nitrogen under it where the corn is planted 2 or 3 hours later.

The Mulch Till N Jector loosens the soil 6-8 inches deep and leaves the residue on top.
The C-Jet spreads a 10-inch band of nitrogen every 15-20 inches where it is quickly available to the young corn plants.
Plant corn into this minimum till seedbed for a good fast start

The Dream Machine strip-till planter offers conservation farming that the others only dream of.

The Strip-till planter makes a good seedbed while spreading the nitrogen.  The planter stays on the strip.
